This restored example of the 9 x cylinder Bristol Pegasus XVII engine is on display at the Science Museum, London, England, and exhibits fine details not often seen in contemporary photographs. Although it is mounted up in the air at a really awkward level for obtaining decent images - it used to be on the floor right in-front of you - I think I have managed to capture most of it from different angles. It is impossible to obtain a 'full-front-on' shot. This is very similar to the engine that powered the Shorts 'C' Class Empire flying boat.
