g This Pratt & Whitney R 1830/90C engine powered the Short Sandringham currently (2014) under intensive, long-term restoration at the French Aircraft Museum, Le Bourget, Paris. This engine is one of the original four, now restored to it's former glory. Let's hope the rest of the flying boat will look this good in a few years time! It's a big, imposing piece of quality engineering and just look at all that wiring and pipe work! g
