Our Russian correspondent - Igor Kolokolov - paid a visit to the Italian Aviation Museum at Vigna di Valle, just outside of Rome, Italy and shot these stunning images of the Grumman Albatross on display there. This would make a colourful alternative to the standard USN decal versions. Our grateful thanks goes to Igor for granting permission to use his images. Thanks, Igor.

Not to be outdone, our USA based correspondent Rod Larson, and our Italian based correspondent Fabrizio D'Isanto, have both visited the same craft at separate times and sent in the stunning images below, to increase our coverage and knowledge of the type.
